WCT TAP FEST | MAY 25TH-26TH, 2024

Save the dates! WCT presents our 21st annual celebration with a weekend of performances, workshops and other exciting events. This year, we will be honouring the Crump Twins for their many contributions to tap dance. Our celebration will be taking place from May 24th-26th at Scotiabank Dance Centre. We will be hosting workshops with Lisa La Touche, Tosh Sutherland, Troy McLaughlin, Peg Giesbrecht, and Jim Hibbard on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday afternoon we will have a tap jam. Saturday evening we will be showing Lisa La Touche’s movie, Trax, followed by a reception. We will cap off the weekend with a fantastic tap show on Sunday with performances by local professionals and amateur groups, and where will be honouring the Crump Twins. Join us for as many events as you are able- we look forward to celebrating the art of tap with you!
