This year we honoured Tap Legend Len Gibson both as a performer and educator for his dedication to the art of Tap Dancing. Len Gibson was joined by tap performers from all over the lower mainland as well as guest artists Jennifer Bishop and the Urban Tap Squad, Jim Hibbard, Troy McLaughlin, Denis Simpson and Leigh Torlage to make this our biggest and best spectacular yet!

2005 TURN ON THE TAP honoured the contributions of Vancouver’s own living legend — world renowned tap dancing star of stage and screen, Dr. Jeni LeGon.

2004 TAP DAY CELEBRATION honoured Mr. Jim Hibbard and his contributions to tap dance and the arts community. Jim was also presented with a plaque and notified that he is the newest member of the B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame.

The B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame honours B.C. residents who have made an outstanding contribution to entertainment in British Columbia, across Canada, and around the world. In a ceremony on November 11, 2004, Jim was officially inaugurated into the Hall of Fame and his star was added to the Starwalk at the Orpheum.
