WEST COAST TAP
West Coast Tap was founded in March 2003 to serve the needs of professional tap dancers, instructors, choreographers and, most of all, anyone with a passion for tap dance.
West Coast Tap has established monthly tap jams and annual tap dance day celebrations to educate dancers and the public about tap dance. As a non-profit organization, West Coast Tap’s purpose and mission is to provide an opportunity for tap dancers of all levels to network and participate
in a collaborative environment and to promote tap dancing as an art form by educating the public through performances and instruction.
West Coast Tap holds regular tap jams at the ANZA Club, workshops with international artists, and an annual Tap Day celebration involving over 200 dancers from Metro Vancouver and beyond.

Tap Jams - 3rd Sunday of every month
We have found a new home for our Tap Jams at the ANZA Club (3 West 8th St.) on the corner of 8th and Ontario streets. After several years at the Hot Jazz Club on Main we have moved over a few blocks to the ANZA Club and will be holding all our Tap Jams there this season. Our first event there will be our FALL TAP JAM Sunday Oct. 14th starting at 7 PM. Our big CHRISTMAS TAP JAM is set for Sunday Dec. 9th while our VALENTINE'S TAP JAM is scheduled for Sunday Feb. 17, 2008 and our SUMMER TAP JAM for Sunday July 6, 2008. All our TAP JAMS start at 7 PM, cost $10 for non-members and $5 for members of the West Coast Tap Dance Collective and include live music with the Bill Costin Trio, merchandise sales, cash bar and very Special Guests! So, mark these dates on your calendar and join the fun of Tap Jammin' at the ANZA Club!
